I need some help regarding Ancestry.com?

My great great grand father was once the governor of a little city in Mexico over 90 years ago. Well I am new to Ancestry.com and I wanted to know if I give proper information about my family do I have a good chance of finding out any information about my great great grand father? I know thats what Ancestry.com does best finds records but from mexico?
