What does my holocaust dream mean?

You probably had the dream because your mind has been on the fact you are researching your mother's Jewish heritage. I used to have holocaust dreams when I was younger and I had no idea why. Some people believe it could be an indication of a past life, others say it's mere coincidence and that dreams mean nothing. People like Freud, believed that all dreams were about wish fulfillment so maybe part of your subconcious mind is wanting to connect with your history. There are so many theories, I don't think we will ever know but you could try writing your dreams down as soon as you wake up to see if any common themes come up.
