Help !!! i have a crazy cat?

i have a female cat with 1 month old kittens , my granddaughter came to visit and the cat got her ,bit her back and scratched her leg and attacked my husband when he tried to get the cat to leave her alone my husband was going to kll her i dont know what to do every time she sees my grand daughter she will attack her what can i do?
